How hard would it be to change the word Media

We may want to change the word Media to be Photos or something else. How hard is it to customize this and keep the customization between upgrades?

You can change the phrases just like you can in XenForo. There's obviously quite a lot of phrases that contain the word "Media" so it won't be a quick job, but definitely do-able.

Admin CP -> Appearance -> Phrases -> [Select language] -> Search for 'Media'. There should be a phrase that is simply called 'Media' or similar.

The problem is that I can't find that phrase, too many phrases with media..

Change them all until you find the right one and revert the ones that didn't change what you wanted.

In Galllery Options there is an option that defines the phrase name. It is xengallery_media_tab by default.

Either choose a different phrase name, type the title there or translate that phrase.
