How Do You Reward Users Donated?

How do I reward users donated for forum needs?
Should I customize their profile/title? Provide more privileges?

What is the best practice?

Do you use addons for this? What are they?

I don't show anything that indicates the member has donated. I do send them a Conversation thanking them for the donation.

I do believe if user donated he should be awarded in return with something in addition to simple thanking

Some people may not want the amount they donated disclosed, or that they donated at all.

I'm happy with addon [TH] Donate and there is a option "Anonymous Donation".
So it's not an issue in my case

Aye, I had that in my vB addon, people like being anonymous while donating quite often.

- increase allowed number of conversation from 300 to 600
- change styling

We do the PC quota thing, but sadly it relies on an addon which is quite expensive if the only feature you want is the PC quota.

We don't even know properly who our donators are as there's not a good XF donation manager so it means cross referencing PayPal emails.

It's the number of PCs allowed per user, currently only via an addon

I don't reward anything. Donations and user upgrades are separate.
