How do I remove the shadow when hovering a signature link?

I thought I'd be able to remove the shadow and just have a simple line when hovering a link in a user's signature, but editing user generated link (hover) doesn't seem to remove it. Any tips?

Style Properties -> Message Elements: User Generated Link (hover)

Click the underline checkbox, remove all the background image properties and add this to the miscellaneous field: box-shadow: none;

It seems there is a box-shadow defined in xenforo.css template.
What is the purpose of having style properties when some changes made in templates?

It seems it is not possible to style xenForo with style properties only...
