XF 1.5 How do I Rebuild the search index?

This import is now complete. You should check the following things:

Ensure that permissions are correct for any imported user groups/nodes, admins, and moderators.
Rebuild the search index.

My last task before shutting down my old vb forum and moving over to xenforo is to Rebuild the search index, were do I find this in the admin panel and second do I need to close the board well I Rebuild the search index?

It's under Tools > Rebuild Caches.

You can leave the site open while rebuilding the search index (though the server load may be higher).
