RM 1.1 How do I change "categories" to something else in URL?

Hello,

I would like to change "categories" word from the resource manager urls to something else and cannot see any built in option. Is there an easy way to do this or do I have to live with it?

It would be even better if I can remove that from the urls all together if there is an easy way to achieve this.

I hope some one could point me in the right direction.

You can use the route filters function.

I tried that but it does not work for some reason. I have two more route filters in place which work perfectly fine.

What did you enter as your filter?

Find Route : categories/
Replace With: destinations/

Incoming URL conversion only - this is unchecked
Enable option is checked.

The RM doesn't use a route for "categories/". It's "resources/categories/".

I would like to share that even if you have created a route filter for "resources/" you still need to use "resources/categories/" and not the new folder name for resources. It wont work with the new folder name if you have created one by renaming resources.
