XF 1.2 How did you accomplish xenForo help section?

That's not built in XenForo.

The XenForo front-end site (anything not in /community) is nothing at all to do with the XenForo code.

That's a great question. The help section has nice sidebars and all that. I do wonder how we could replicate that using Pages.

For the most part it's just HTML and CSS.

It uses a completely different jquery release. I thought the pages were xenForo page nodes.

No. It's completely separate to XenForo. Just like the customer area, manual, help pages etc.

I think your explanation is correct.

Xenforo still needs a good Page building implemenation.
My guess is that won't come until Xenforo 2.0 CMS edition. (I just made the name up).

By accident I noticed the blue vertical navigation area on xF pages and I used its routine for my addon. Now I want to take a look how to use pages, there are routines within the page not used anywhere else here on xenForo which are worth noticing

Such a surprise! The CMS is already there with the Pages. Just two things are missing:

1. a larger editor for entering text
2. a standard css like http://xenforo.com/css.php?css=documentation
