XF 2.1 How can I test the push notifications

Hosting says all the things are installed but I am thinking someting is missing and I have not recived the opt into notifications pop up. Is there a test script to see if I have everything set up I need on the server? How can I test it and what might be the cause of it not working if everything is indeed installed.

Have you enabled push notifications in the ACP?
Have you enabled Use push notifications in user group permissions?
Also make sure you're not testing with an iOS device or a Mac with Safari as they don't support push notifications.

Note that you can also check to see if push notifications are enabled by going to your Preferences on your forum.
