How can I remove the language select?

In my forum I'm not interested in having the English language, can I safely delete it or there is a way to disable this option in the footer?

You can safely delete it.

There is currently no option to disable or hide installed languages.

Glad Brogan could help - btw, I haven't tested it yet, but if you can set a language as ' users can select this ' to 'no', and only have 1, then it won't show the selector to the user, just like with styles? But admins will see the selector.
