XF 2.2 Homepage creating

I want to make a homepage that uses XenForo under https://domain.com. But how and where must XenForo be when I want to do it? In var/www/html/forum or var/www/html/ ?

If the home page is part of XF - a page node, add-on, etc. - then XF must be installed in the domain root.

If the home page is external to XF - WordPress, or a static HTML page for example - then XF should be installed in a sub directory such as /forum or /community.

Yeah, I have a XenForo page note. But how, if I go to my domain "vreecoaster.de" I get the apache2 site. And the forum should be at /forum like yet.

Set the index page route in the ACP to whatever you want the home page to be.

Assuming you have a page node called home, it would be:

Your Index page route is blank. It needs to be filled in as @Brogan stated. Example: pages/home/

I probably didn't understand you. You want to have a forum in the root, but a custom page instead of original forum's home page?

uh, ok. then put back '/forum' from Board URL .
next you have to add "node" that is a page. Admin control panel -> Forums -> Nodes -> add node ->Node type : Page.

Your Board URL and Index page route are still incorrect.

The board URL is the actual URL where XF is installed - drop the /forum.

The index page route is as per my screenshot.
