XF 2.1 History button below posts

Is this part of core Xenforo 2.1.1?



I only see it (as an admin) on member-edited posts, not on unedited posts. When I click it, it shows the post version history.

If this is a Xenforo 2.1.1 feature, where is it controlled?

If not, does anyone know what add-on is inserting it?

It's standard since always (pretty sure XF 1.0). It only shows if there IS edit history on the post and the person viewing can view the history.

Do you know where those permissions are set? I don't see it listed in Group Permissions.

I believe it’s the “edit any post” permission.

Right... I always thought that was a little bit of a fail. It would be nice if you could give users the ability to view post edit history without giving them the ability to edit all the posts. But it is what it is...

Does anyone know of an addon that would allow regular members to view History without have permission to Edit any post?

If not, anyone want to consider making one? @ozzy47 @AndyB @TickTackk @SyTry @Sim
