XF 1.5 Header/logo problems

I'm having issues getting the header/logo looking "just right" on my forum: http://lareefclub.com/

The new one I'm trying to use can be seen below.

I've tried using both 1930 x 200 and 1280 x 200 background images. It looks fine on some screen resolutions, but not on others. I've noticed this site's banner always looks great, hugs the screen perfectly no matter what the screen resolution is and they are using XF as well: http://www.reef2reef.com/

So what am I doing wrong?

It may be due to the fact that the text should be used separately from the bg image. The text or text pic.png is used separately from the bg header image so it floats left when on mobile.

Thanks for the reply. I've figured out that the "header" is one png (or jpg), and the "logo" is a different png/jpg - the smaller clickable part that floats over the header. I guess what I can't figure out is how to make my header png fit "perfectly" at the top regardless of the end-user screen resolution.
