XF 1.5 Header external adder

Hi guys,

I couldn't find this by search.
Want to add a ticker to my header, but it continues to mess with the nav menu strip.

As you can see from the pics, the nav strip is shortened after adding it:



the code used:



Yet, if I move the code, then the nav menu goes to the top with the header info below:





Please advise how to fix this and get the nav bar/menu to stay full length rather than being truncated

Add it to the ad_header template, float it right and center it.
