XF 1.2 Have Navigation Tabs on bottom also?

Is there anyway to move navigation tabs to the bottom of the screen along with having them at the top. A member requested the "New Posts" button be at the bottom of the screen so when he scrolls through a thread he can simply hit is and be brought to new posts. It is a smart idea, but I was wondering if there was a cleaner way of having all of the nav tabs be displayed.

I would mainly only be concerned with the sub tabs, so if you were on the forum, it would show "Mark Forums Read" , "Search Forums" etc. at the bottom. But I would be fine if it displayed the primary navtab(i.e Forums) also.

Has anyone done anything like this, or would know how to?

It's possible with template edits. It will require some doing though.

I don't like this idea myself. There is a "Top" link in the footer already.

For the purpose of quick links something like that would be non-intrusive, as opposed to duplicating the entire navbar.
