Handling Report & Moderation Queue

How do you handle both?

I want to move away from the team forums for "talks about their tasks", but there's no way to do this.

I really miss a "mixture" from the moderation queuen and the reports page.

Report Queue => the moderators are able to "chat" there and talk about the "problem" but they're not able to put the content on moderation or even delete it.
If they want to do this, they have to leave the report page, go to the content and put it on moderation.

and inside the moderation page, they're not able to talk about the problem / why the content is put on moderation or why it wasn't approved.
They're not able to do annything except to approve or delete the content.


Now with 1.2 we could just use the report forum feature, but this would disable the report center => losing of the great new user alert feature

With our forum the workflow seems much better when using forums than the report centre.

We currently use the StaffRoom Unread Addon to give alerts to new posts in our staff forum. I was hoping someone would come up with a way to run a second instance of that which focused on the report forum.
