"Google May 2020 Core Update" affecting your xF Forum?

The forum has been around since 2005, we had GoogleAds from the start and there were never any problems with it. Then Google started to constantly change the rules so that we use AutoADS to avoid placing too many ads or placing them in the wrong place.
If Google now penalizes sites for their own ads to slow down the site, it's perverted.
yeah, google is evil, Napoleon already informed us. )

I actually had to set for /attachments/ origin cache control: off

Browser Cache TTL: a month, Cache Level: Cache Everything, Edge Cache TTL: a month, Origin Cache Control: Off

Gotcha. Is the traffic loss mostly forums or across the non-forums as well?
Sorry for the delay. I was having some weird problems with the filters/segments in GA -- the numbers weren't adding up, but now they do.

Looks like non-forum traffic stayed the same. As you can see, most of our traffic goes to the forum.

Strange -- it's only 18.4kb
first sam's js executes to show a container, then ads js executes to show an ads in that container... I guess the idea was to lazy load ads, so page with a lot of them would load fast. but I guess it didn't work out as expected.

lazy loading doesn't work. a page is loading and loading and loading...
I wonder if rocketloader kills that sam-lazy script

@askandy all seems to be working for me now.

While the page insights tool is ok -- in a few days, go to google analytics and check out page speed timings. There you might be able to see some change in actual measured page load speed. I'm not 100% sure if what was done will make a measurable impact in these measurements but it should help. But good to check it out.
