XF 1.3 Google Integration - Logo issue

My developer implemented the procedures at http://xenforo.com/help/google-integration/ and Sign-Up via Google works fine. However, in the logo part of the settings (shown in the photo), where there is no option to upload the logo image, only a logo URL option... So, the logo URl entered is: http://www(dot)discuss.pics/styles/google-logo.png which leads to the logo. But, the logo does not show up (as seen in the attached image?)

What's causing this error? How can my dev get my logo to show up?

According to the message, the image is invalid.

Try another image or one with the correct extension.

If you are paying a "developer" for support then they should be able to troubleshoot this.

Actually I meant that the logo is a .png transparent logo & the logo link clearly works, and it doesn't say that in Google Console a .png logo should not be used? So, what extension should the logo be or what else?
