XF 1.3 Giving Designer ACP Access

Just a quick question, title pretty much says it all.
Is it possible to give the designer ACP access without changing usergroups?

I think no, you must add the designer user to admin group.
and also have admin access, you can limit the access to styles only.

Adding to the Administrator group won't give them ACP access.

Explicitly promote their account to Administrator.

Access to the Admin CP is not granted based on user groups... You can be an Administrator and have full access to the Admin CP and just be a Registered user.

So the correct answer here is YES.

Go to Admin CP > Users > Administrators > and click "Create New Administrator" button.

Put in your password, the person's username who you want to be an Administrator, do not add to any user groups and give them only the permissions you require them to have.
