Lack of interest Give users the capability to hide "similar threads"

Users need a way to hide the "similar threads" section that clutters the screen. They are annoying and mostly useless. Since it seems they are connected to advanced search, please enable hiding them just like we can hide groups of threads in other places.

Ignore a user and his threads are hidden by default (but can be shown on demand).

Ignoring users is not the same as "hiding groups of threads in other places".

There's many ways to reduce the "clutter."
1. You can turn them off per forum.
2. You can change the 5 threads that show to less, like 2.
Search for similar threads when users are creating new threads
Maximum results: 2
3. You can disable similar threads, but keep enhanced search enabled.

I would consider a collapse-control to be an adequate method of hiding useless thr - sorry, similar threads. I use the collapse to hide a number of forums all the time.
