I wish the resource manager would allow us to connect to github:d
It could make tracking the suggestions, bugs and releases easier..
e.g. ATM i'm having a js running at xf.com which adds an link to all posts, which allows me to create a new issue entry with 2 clicks from an post...
screen.webp

I never suggested a github integration, because I don't think we'll see a better integration (and because there are many much more important things like xf 1.2), even there are maybe many interested in this feature, but just out of interest, let's see how many are using github^^

Would be nice but not really necessary imo

Also I tend to prefer bitbucket as private repos are free

So you prefer the fact that it's free, you don't necessary prefer bitbucket? :)

I tried bitbucket but it just doesn't feel as intuitive as github. And as a freelancer I find github to still be relatively cheap, although I really wish they would charge for disk space & bandwidth rather than amount of repositories.

With github, can't you have just one free project? Any other project costs something per month?

Sorry, just saw the answer. Private repos at github aren't free. I've never really looked into what it would cost to create a couple.

$7 for 10 private repo's, or $25 if you're an organization and want to create teams and set read/write permissions.

Public repo's are free. Neither private nor public repo's have any limits what so ever.
