Near happy with my setup and was going through some test and getting an odd error.

    No addons enabled :

Random thread with no numbers in URL gives:

"XenForo_ControllerPublic_Thread does not define an action"

Should give "The requested page could not be found."

That error means exactly what it says. It's an invalid URL that doesn't define a thread_id or valid action. This detailed error message is only shown when debug mode is enabled. Otherwise it just says "The requested page could not be found."

Are you testing random URLs trying to break things? Or is this a legitimate link that you clicked somewhere on your forum?

You need thread numbers to tell the system you are looking for a thread. Without it, it interprets the link (eru) as an action and handles it properly. What Jake said is correct.
