About 25% of the time when replying to threads, we're receiving the message, "Oops! We ran into some problems. Please try again later. More error details may be in the browser console.". It seems the post is made, but it takes a minute to show up. Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue?

Thank you.

No errors in your ACP? There should be some. And also this sounds like some addons inflicting to your XF. Did you try to disable all addons and see if then all is fine?

The server error log says:

  • ErrorException: Template error: Template email:bb_code_tag_quote is unknown
  • src/XF/Template/Templater.php:582

I don't have any add-ons and the only code or template edit is the one I alluded to in post #7. This is a pretty new install of XF.

This only seems to happen when replying to others. I'll get the error and then if you simply wait 15 seconds, the following shows up but if you don't wait, you double post:

As far as I can tell, this bug has only been happening in one specific subforum. The permissions for this forum are such where admin can see all the threads, registered users can only see their own threads and posts and the posts by admin who respond to their threads, and everyone else cannot see any of those threads/posts. I thought I'd mention this in case it is pertinent.
