Hello,

"
Oops! We ran into some problems.
Please enter a valid emoji short-name. "

iam getting this error, does someone know how can i fix this?

Okay so you can paste the actual emoji there and it works, not sure what a short-name is but  works but making up your own does not, so not sure where it is getting the short-name from but it needs to exist. XF can clarify.

For example, is the short-name for 😄. You can type : and then the name of any emoji and it should auto-complete a valid emoji for you. This also works in the regular post editor.

Yeah but don't enter anything in the emoji replacement field. Smilies can either be emoji replacements or image replacements, but not both. I can appreciate that might not be obvious from the UI.

Confused now. It literally says an image replacement can also be entered, and then the emoji will be used where the image can't be displayed.
"Enter an emoji or emoji short-name (such as 😄) which will replace the smilie text. If an image replacement is also entered, the emoji will be used as in places where image replacements are not supported (such as emails)."

Sounds like it favors image with emoji as backup. Is that wrong?
