XF 1.4 Get error when updating add ons

But I am using the same username and password that I am connecting to this forum with?

Where exactly are you trying to log in to, to update your add-ons?

You need to log in to your own site, not this one.

I go to the Update Check screen.
Click "Upgrade" next to an add on that needs updated.
Then it asks for an Xenforo username and password.

My username on my site and this site is the same. Doesn't matter if I use my site password or the Xenforo password here, I get the same error message.

That would be an issue with whatever add-on updater you're using.

That is related to some sort of automatic updater add-on.

I suspect you have it configured incorrectly but you will have to post in the add-on thread for support.
