Get email notification when something in moderator queue?

In order to promptly handle items requiring attention such as maybe a new user registration or some other permission based option that requires moderator attention, I need to be notified. Is there an option I'm missing so that moderators can be emailed when a new item is in the moderator queue?

Good question. Hasn't been an issue for me in the past but things are changing. I now require manual approval of all registrations, even ones that make it past StopForumSpam, so it would be a nice to have. Also looking at creating a Probationary Users class that would require all posts from such users to be approved.

I use that add-on for new user registrations but I'm asking for something to notify staff when something is added to the moderator queue.

In fact this add-on does not help for this purpose. Just had a new user registration go into the moderator queue. Your add-on did not pick up the registration until after I approved it, then I got an email from your add-on.

Andy PM'd me that his add-on emails on 10 minute intervals so it may not have been queued yet. Regardless I still need a notification when items need moderator approval.
