XF 2.0 FTP client telling me a file already exist on upload

uploading into subdirectory and ftp giving me this window asking me what to do with this file...

If this is a new installation in an empty directory then that shouldn't happen, but I have seen it with Filezilla (although it seems you're not using that).

It should be safe to overwrite but if in doubt, check the contents of both files to ensure they are dupes.

I have seen it happen in FileZilla before too. As Brogan says, just choose Overwrite. It's safe to ignore.

Ahh, that explains it then.

I stopped using FZ due to that issue.

I recommend WinSCP, or if you have cPanel, use File Manager, upload the zip archive and extract directly on the server.

Just as a note the window kept popping up therefore I had to tic "always do this option" to keep the install progress.

pointing browser to directory install and nothing happening, set two folders to 777 also....trying to figure this out TY

should I create a separate database and user info Don't know this is my first time in MySQL

I have two so I am assuming new plugins/addons are creating new ones therefore forum maybe needs new database (my logic) TY for guidence I see why there is a fee Wishit was one click from CPANEL
