Lack of interest Friends

Hi,

I was wonder if there are plans (or custom add-on) for a social-like Friends system?
I know there's a "Follow" build-in on Xenforo. The main problem with that is that anyone can follow anyone else with no approval and no limits.

I am not sure my own site needs it, but it is a big part of the culture on some other non-Xenforo boards I am on. So I can get behind this, esp. since I occasionally nudge the owner of those boards to get some better board software.
