XF 1.2 Friendly URLs

I thought I had my friendly URL set up done right, but I guess not, unless it is only for pages. What I care about is posts. For example:

Not sure what to do. I just made a post and the title was "What is the Google Hummingbird Update" and it gives me this URL :


http://imlightning.com/threads/what-is-the-google-hummingbird-update.12/

But it should be :

http://imlightning.com/what-is-the-google-hummingbird-update/

How can I fix this ? Is there an add on or can my webhost do something ?

That is a thread ID, it must be there so you don't end up with broken URLs. If it was the way you wanted it just changing the title would could cause the links to break from search results. So with the ID the thread can be moved/title changed without loosing the links from searches from google ect..

will take you to the same place as

http://imlightning.com/threads/what-is-the-google-hummingbird-update.12/

But won't search engine rankings be affected by long URLs with numbers in them ?
