XF 1.5 Friendly URLs for prefixes

Hi,

Is there a way to make prefixes have friendly URLs?
For example:
1. Instead of /?prefix_id=1
2. Transform into /myPrefix.1/

Please let me know. I'm not sure how to tackle this one in the best possible way.

It would require custom development.

FWIW, arguably there would be minimal benefit, if any.

I disagree on the benefits though. I think, on the contrary, that it would be very valuable both from the user and SEO standpoint.
