Not a bug Forum Link (URL Portion)

If I enter, for example http://www.bugtracker.com/ into the "URL Portion:" box, it says the following:

Please enter a node name using a-z, 0-9, _, and - characters only.

This means I cannot use ".", ":" or "/" which is necessary for a link xD

If you want to create a link to a URL then use the LinkForum node type.

You can then enter the URL in the Link URL: field.

Is that what you're trying to do?

The URL Portion when creating a forum is so you can define a specific node name e.g. testforum so the URL will be http://www.mysite.com/forums/testforum/
