Forum in subdomain without "forum" word?

Hello,

I want install my community in subdomain, so the url of my forum will be:

forum.mydomain.com

I saw that as default, the url of my sections are:

• forum.mydomain.com/forums/name-of-section.17/

How can I remove the word "forums" from the URL?

I would like that the urls are only:

• forum.mydomain.com/name-of-section.17/

The forums route can't be removed - it is intrinsic to the software.

There will be the option to rename the route in 1.2, but not remove it.

While, if I install Xenforo in the root of my server, I don't have this situation.

The "forums" will still be in the URL, even in the root http://cliptheapex.com/forums/formula-one/
