Formula 1 2011 Thread!

Brundle disagrees with you ;)

He said Button looked left in his mirrors and knew Hamilton was there.

Agree with this, Button knew Hamilton was there and still chose to try and shut the door and force him into the wall.

Very similar to what Schumacher did to Massa last year at Canada.
I seem to recall Schumacher was roundly criticised for that.

True.

But that doesn't make up for his dangerous squeeze on his team mate.

Schumacher did it twice last season and was crucified.
I'm surprised nothing has been said about it really.

Oh dear, I wish I could. Used to visit a couple of the more local ones in my youth, but quite a few moons have passed since then.

Anyone else heading to Silverstone tomorow?
Not been since 2000 when it was a swamp. :( Was a great experience though and it is amazing the difference between the speed and sound compared with television.

If you are an F1 fan then you should at some point go and see a Grand Prix.

Testing now underway at Jerez in preparation of 2012 season. I can't wait for the new season to begin, hopefully we will have more teams winning some races.

Raikkonen already posted a great time 1.19.670, faster than last years for the whole test - 1.19.8, but new tyres, new regulations, maybe cars are faster again which would be surprising without the blown diffusers that generated so much down-force last year.

Lots of people complaining about the cars this year too, saying they are ugly (stepped nose, etc), but for me they still look good.

Just bought the 2012 season review on Blu-Ray too. Don't have Sky Sports though, so will only be able to watch some of the race highlights. :(

We already have HD so we don't have to pay extra for the F1 channel.

It's worth pointing out that they are also showing all the support races live - GP3 and GP2.
