XF 1.4 Force already signed up users to edit custom field

Question:
How can I force already signed up users to edit a custom field?

Situation:
I just created a new custom field which I made a *reguired field for future users that might register. Though, I want already existing members to be forced to see or edit the new custom field that I created. How can I go about this?

It would require an add-on to do that, otherwise the next time members update their profile, they will be forced to do so then.
