Please give me a satisfactory answer, thank you!
Yes, thank you, that's what I'll do.XF w/Resource Manager should suit your every need. As far as other solutions I don't care to comment on those here at XF. But I will say since your project is some years off, you have the luxury of seeing what the others are talking about above as far as XF's future.
IPS is a little heavier on the code... and if one was not going to use theHow is IPS better than XenForo? I've not decided yet and probably my community will start in some years as I prepare everything, so I have plenty of time.

function, but the resource manager offered by XF is a little better than the IPS downloads offering (or it was when I was using IPS).You want to see an example of Bolt in use.. hit the site in my sig.. it's my default.I found a good theme also: https://pixelexit.com/products/bolt.38/
I see... Thank you!You want to see an example of Bolt in use.. hit the site in my sig.. it's my default.
The ONLY time I saw an issue with them was with a right wing militia group getting their license revoked... and I'm pretty sure that the behavior shown on that site would have had the same results from the other major paid script providers.ut with IPS I worry about being discriminated because I'm a KJV Christian, and one of their founder is gay
Something that really blew my mind was that alphabay also uses XenForo, or used to before the law close it down. The ONLY time I saw an issue with them was with a right wing militia group getting their license revoked... and I'm pretty sure that the behavior shown on that site would have had the same results from the other major paid script providers.
That's a strong incentive to stay with XenForo indeed, thank you!BTW, just to comment once more on... I have licenses for both scripts... but guess which one I continue to use?
The other "gotcha" with IPS.... there is STRONG understanding that after this next version, you will ONLY be able to get their SaaS offering, which with the fear you commented on is even more impacted, as not only do you get the "script services" from them, but they host your data.
It's one of the reasons I haven't gone back to them as I like having control of my hosting and data.
Why is your project years off?my community will start in some years as I prepare everything
Perfect, I think with this I'm convinced, as I have set your answer as the resolving answer to this thread, that definitely. Thank you for your help! If you don't mind I also don't want you going to hell, so if you have time please watch this video: (this is not me).BTW, just to comment once more on... I have licenses for both scripts... but guess which one I continue to use?

Because I'm going to translate the Bible and other stuff and put it online, it takes years, but it's essentially a Christian bookstore but without the pay. Just look at what I intent to translate: https://pastebin.com/iXRVgyGcWhy is your project years off?
Now that you mention it, I remember them (IPS admins) saying that they recommended their platform against the likes of Facebook, BECAUSE you could "own" your own data, and now they have backtracked. Wow. Thanks for the info.BTW, just to comment once more on... I have licenses for both scripts... but guess which one I continue to use?
