Yes we do Londoner :D Before we moved out of the City we used to go to the Sydney fish markets every Saturday morning and buy up a load for Saturday night lol it is something i really miss from the City I must say, whilst we have some OK fish shops up here, there is nothing like the Markets! :D

I made this Snapper last week, OH MY ! it was good :D

I love fish markets too. :) Your fish looks yummy. And you put my favourite herb (parsley) on top. :D What's your address again?

Yesterday, I did roast duck with five spice, garlic and kaffir lime, minced pork with walnuts and almonds stuffing, garlic and thyme roast potatoes, wilted white cabbage with mustard seeds and smoked bacon, and caramelised star anise carrots.

Nom.

Phwoar YUM! That looks very Spectacular! :D Special Occasion?

Just curious, when cooking do you let the food go cold while you ferret out a camera and take pictures? Honest to god curiosity, genuine question.

I rest poultry for as long as I cook it. In the case of that duck, eighty minutes.

I don't have much culinary experience obviously, but won't it be cold after 80 minutes sitting on a cold side? Or do you mean you leave it to sit on a hot plate or something similar

My dinner:

Rice & barley, sprout & green onion marinated with cayenne and sesame oil, sole (cooked in ginger, garlic & olive oil), seaweed and ferns, cooked, dried, reconstituted and marinated with sesame seed and sesame oil. Everything you need for "Korean taco's"! Wanna guess my wife's ethnicity?

Herbed bulgur pilaf with homemade mango salsa, and a side of grilled chicken breast.

I froze 30 mangoes the last time they were in season. I let it thaw and had a bite, tasted fresh surprisingly.

Had takeout chinese from a new place in town. Never again. They obviously use MSG because I am getting that headache and swelling I always get when I comsume anything that contains MSG.

Guess we'll get chinese from our usual place next time.

I am the same Peggy, I once had to be dashed to the ER with MSG reaction, fortunately it disapated after a fairly short time, but wow I thought I was going to die, I could barely breathe! Very careful about Take Out Asian food now.

And seaweed is great :D Do they have sushi rolls where you are? Great way to try seaweed!
