Clear the contents of "ad_header"

As for the other blue area it looks like massive amounts of padding on:

Style Properties -> General -> Content,

But that's a guess without seeing the site.

Easy, you can do it by yourself within an hour! Try color plates mostly until you are happy.

i dont want to mess with that, that why ask author to reelase dark version.

No dark version in the near future, paid styles have the priority currently and I'm a little behind on what I'm wanting to release.

Russ updated Flat Awesome with a new update entry:

1.4.0 Beta 1 Fixes

Forgot to make a list of the templates I've updated...

Fixed a node category bug

But this brings Flat Awesome up-to-date with 1.4.0 Beta 1.

More than likely we may see a 1.3.5 release which hopefully won't change the templates around too much so it won't require an update
