Finalize import for the moment impossible

I have made an import of my forum into e new XF setup.

Wel awaiting for finalizing, I got this message:

Service Unavailable​

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

In the server errorlogs I found this:

Error on sending request(POST /admin.php?import/run HTTP/1.1); uri(/admin.php?import/run) content-length(54): ReceiveAckHdr:
nothing to read from backend (LVE ID 1204), check

The import got stuck.

Rourceses say:
You have reached the limits within the past 24 hours

• Physical memory resources limit was reached for your site

Al this I never have experienced doing an import!

I have moved the thread from bug reports.

The issue is related to server resources according to the text you have posted.

Hello Brogan, I have never experienced this before.
There is 8 GB ram and 12 cores

We can only go by what the error message says and it explicitly states your site has reached resource limits which is out of our control. First port of call will be to consult with your host to ask them to remove or increase those limits.

@Chris D - I contacted my host off course.
But it is the first time for me, an XenForo importer used too many resources of the server.

@Chris D & @Brogan - I now used the 1.5.1 Importer and the migration now was successfully,
without abnormal usage of Resources.
