Lack of interest Big boards: Finalize import via CLI instead of in the browser?

After completing all import steps, the CLI tells you to "finalize" the import process in the browser. For large forums it would be preferable to run this final step via the CLI, too. It seems like finalizing the import easily takes multiple hours for big boards. Using the CLI should be faster and more reliable.

Is it somehow possible to finalize the import via CLI instead of in the browser?

I've found a "xf:rebuild-master-data" command. Could this command help me?

I ran the job.php file in a loop and manually stopped it when it stopped echoing out that there was more todo. On a test copy of https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com it took nearly an 2-3 hours (slooow VM).

The shell code I used was:
