RM 1.2 File not saving in Resource Manager

We are trying to update a resource. We've updated several and most have been fine, but we can't get one of the updates to go through and save. It goes through all the same motions as the others did, but after Save Update it doesn't complete and show the update has been posted. We are presuming there is something the system doesn't like about it, but there have not been any error messages or warnings so we are stuck trying to work out how to get it to take. Seems to upload into the update version dialog OK but the post just doesn't do anything after Save Update (well, the progress indicator goes as normal but the update doesn't get posted).

Any ideas? We've updated this same file several times without a hitch... have no idea why it would not update this particular time.

We have several versions of a program that we upload updates. We had to upload new versions to fix a bug someone reported. All worked fine when updating them except that same file again that would not update previously. However, we tried deleting all but one line of the comment for the update and it worked.

We were then able to edit the comment and add back what was deleted. The ccomment that didn't work was exactly the same comment as used on the other versions (all pasted in as a copy of the same text). Bit bizarre, maybe there's a log file somewhere in Xenforo that can tell us why it wasn't working?

When you uploaded the file, did you enter a new version number? That's required to indicate that you are trying to update the version.

Yes version was input... as stated it had to do with the comments.
