Yes, it's extremely annoying to the extent that I would have to go to in order to do this so I would appreciate this to be supported 
What I mean is, say in a foreach loop you are incrementing a value (say $i) and you want to add another value using a button. If you do, $i does not increment and appears as the last value that the foreach loop had before exiting.
