I imported from mybb and all perms are messed up. I tried the sql QUERY which was posted on here. But got a error saying the user did not had permission to run the query which is odd as it has all perms selected. Anyway should i first manual set all usergroup permissions? or? because i had all the perms for usergroups set to No and was hoping if i set the perms in the nodes as they needed to be it would work. But no so first set the usergoup perms?

You can't set permissions with queries.
You will have to go through each user group and node and set them up.
