Facebook Integration Issue

I need help from folks more familiar with Facebook than myself.

A user of my XF site is complaining that he is able to see his private Facebook information on my XF site. I asked him to disassociate his Facebook Profile at this URL:

http://www.cornstoveforums.com/account/facebook

He sent back some copied text that leads me to think that he was able to do this, but he claims that the issue still persists. I believe that whatever he is seeing is only viewable by him, but am curious if there is a particular configuration setting I could change?

What does he mean by 'private information'?

If he has clicked on Recommend on any threads then it will show his Facebook avatar there, and that of his Facebook friends who have also clicked on the same thread.
That has nothing to do with the forum software though, anyone can click on Recommend, even non-members.

That is what I thought.

He claims that he was able to see information on my XF site that was posted privately on facebook. I don't see how that is possible, but perception is everything.
