Not a bug Facebook Group posts not embedding as media

Public Facebook Group posts are not embedding as Media, e.g.;

Log into Facebook

Log into Facebook to start sharing and connecting with your friends, family, and people you know.

Instead they are embedded as unfurled URLs

It would be nice, at this point, if Facebook would stop adding new URL types.

I was perhaps slightly hasty on marking this as "Confirmed".

Facebook do not allow posts from groups to be embedded in any circumstances (even if they're public).

The Facebook social plugin page even makes it clear that Groups aren't covered:

Only public posts from Facebook Pages and profiles can be embedded.
