XF 1.5 Exporting/importing phrases

I set up phrases on my development site, and now I want to import them to my new site.
This includes phrases for core XenForo and for add-ons.

For export, I chose to export (All). Should I tick the box for 'Get untranslated phrases'?

When I import, what options should I pick?
Should it be imported as a child?
Should I overwrite the default language?

Generally no. That's to ease full translations.

This is really personal preference and how you want to setup the languages on your site.
