Thanks again guys! Your input has helped the site a great deal over the past week. I think we've taken all the input into consideration and made the changes now. Just need to get users to the site over the next month or two!!!

I will have to look into the thread prefix thing and how it would be implemented as we eventually do want sub-forums too.

That's the nice thing about thread prefixes. Down the road when you want to create sub-forums you can easily sort by thread prefixes and move all the threads into the appropriate new sub-forum.

I don't do sub-forums. Prefixes take care of that if you do them properly. Grab the prefix filter and they even look like sub-forums in the menu:
