XF 1.4 Emails not sending

I've just realised that I've not been getting any email alerts from my forum.

Having search this forum for seeing how to send a test email I used the Admin area to send one to myself and I've not received it.

Looking at the email settings it's set to default with the return path -f parameter ticked. What are my next steps for trying to resolve this or find out why they aren't sending?

If you are using the default PHP mail function and there are no errors in the ACP, then this means the emails have been handed off to the server.

At that point XenForo is no longer involved so you would need to check the mail server log to see whether they are being sent or not.

Your host should be able to help with that if you are unsure how to check the log.

If they are being sent then it could be any number of reasons why they aren't being delivered.

Just tried to another test account I've got set up and that worked. Took a closer look at my admin account and realised I'd left the c from the .com at the end of my email. No wonder I wasn't receiving any...
