XF 1.4 Emails issue with forum

I have an email issue with our XF. We have a contact page on the site that doesn't deliver the email to me. Also when someone registers the email takes ages to come through and sometimes not at all. Can you help please?

If that's the case, you really need to talk to whoever your email sending provider is (your host, SMTP server provider, etc) to see the raw email logs (which will show delivery statuses).
