XF 1.2 Email users page hangs.

I just set the email settings for gmail and want to send a test email. I'm on the admin.php?users/email page and after clicking "Send Email", it just loads and loads.

I'm the only registered user so only 1.

smtp.gmail.com:465
TLS
Gmail email and password.

Try SSL and not TLS. I've found 2 articles online that have it as SSL for the protocol. Also, make sure you are using the full gmail address.
