XF 1.4 Email send through contact form uses site's email address

Hi!

I'm using SMTP email transport method (with Mandrill) and I've noticed that email send through contact form uses site's email address.

I was using Mandrill before, but in the mean time I switched to Mailgun and now back to Mandrill. Since then I'm noticing this annoying thin, but all my settings in Mandrill are same as before.

Do I have to set something in my XF of contact Mandrill?

Anyone have the same problem? It's really annoying I can't reply directly when someone contacts me through contact form.

The approach was changed in 1.4 to use a Reply-To header after a lot of complaints about the old approach failing (Sender header). Do you see that header in the raw headers? (If you click reply, is it respected?)

Well, I can se like that:

From: username <myforumemail@test.com>
Reply-to: username <hisemail@test.com>


But when I hit reply it shows my forum email and sends to it. (*I'm using Gmail)

In my tests in Gmail, this does seem to work as I expect. I'm really not sure why it'd work differently for you. Can you click the "show original" link and send it to me (privately)?

I don't know either. Maybe I have some weird setting in Gmail?

This happens to me to0. I hit reply and then I send an e-mail to myself. I'm in gmail too.

I have to copy and paste the e-mail from the e-mail to actually send it to that person.

Meanwhile I switched to Outlook and no problems there. In Gmail it's still the same issue.
