Lack of Interest "Edit conversation" = poor choice of words

Discussion in 'Closed Suggestions' started by KeepItSimpleStupid, Aug 14, 2014.

  1. I think "Edit permissions" would be more appropriate.

[ ] Allow anyone to invite others
    [ ] Lock conversation

has nothing to do with editing the actual conversation. Besides, that's what the EDIT button is for, right?

    Aside:
The editing window should be up until the conversation is read by any recipient. Not sure how it is implemented?

But you are editing the conversation, so it makes perfect sense.

  3. Two knobs that say EDIT; (one is within the conversation and one is outside of the conversation) yea right. So let's have two knobs called volume on our radios.

One edits the message itself and one edits the actual details of the conversation, such as the title.

I find this very missleading, too. Also in threads.

In threads it makes even more sense.

Edit Conversation is consistent with Edit Thread.
