Can't fix Dropdowns on Hover

This is something I hadn't noticed, but something a few users on my site have complained about.

If you put your mouse on the top of any of the right dropdown navigation items, the dropdown won't open until you move it down to at least the text of the item.

This is really just a side effect of the snow graphics. There's not much that can be done if they're kept in place.

I'm not seeing this (Chrome, whatever the latest beta is), as in they're opening when I hover over the space surrounding it too.

EDIT: Oh; Mike's explanation makes sense--doesn't work on the top here and I don't have anything in my helper spans on mine.

Ah I wasn't thinking of that. (Since visually the snow doesn't touch there, it had overlooked that the .helper spanned the entire navigation bar) Thanks Mike.
